A MANUAL : HOW TO TIE YOUR SCARF

Manuals often give me the creeps because there is always that one step that seems to have skipped another step and sort of messes up the entire process. But I promise this one is really really easy (or is that what is always looks like when you're writing a manual yourself?). Anyway I got some requests to put up this step-by-step manual from friends and customers at the pop-up so figured it could still come in handy during the holidays. And if, by some coincidence, you were to fall in love with one of the scarves used in the pictures you can buy them online or come and visit us at The List (kloosterstraat 13, Antwerp) until the end of December.

Happy tying, tucking and wrapping!!

THE WRAP

step 1: flip the scarf over your shoulder (make sure the back part is slightly longer than the front part)

step 2: pick up the back part and wrap from one to the other shoulder. Drape accordingly and secure with a pin if necessary.

THE FLIP

step 1: put the scarf around your neck, make sure one end is slightly longer than the other.

step 2: tie a simple knot with the longer end of the scarf.

step 3: pull up the knot a little and flip the end that is peaking out over your shoulder. Drape accordingly.

THE DOUBLE TUCK

step 1: put the scarf around your neck.

step 2: wrap the scarf around your neck, make sure both ends are equally long.

step 3: take one end of the scarf and tuck it into the parf of the scarf that is wrapped around your neck. Repeat with the other side.

THE DEEP V

step 1: put the scarf around your neck.

step 2: wrap the scarf around your neck, make sure both ends are equally long.

step 3: take one end of  the scarf and tuck a corner piece back into the wrap. Secure with a pin if necessary.
