It still feels weird to type it out but well it happened, it's done! The first Unknown Curiosity collection is out in the open where everyone can see it. In case you hadn't realized it yet you haven't been paying attention because I have been spamming you like crazy! I don't want you to miss out so just click on "the collection" in main navigation if you have been missing out ;).
From the moment I stepped out of the plane and back on Belgian soil, I was in for a hell of a ride. I had no Euro's on me, I'd forgotten my bank cards and my Belgian sim card didn't fit in my new phone. You'd think I would have gotten used to these things by now because they seem to happen to me all the time but apparently I have not...
First on the agenda was clearing my merchandise from duties which ended up with me walking around with my trolley, in the cargo port of Zaventem (read a lot of people looked at me as if I was a very lost tourist and I had a good laugh about it, ha!). That same day I had an interview with De Morgen in Brussels so I rushed back to our capital to give my first interview ever. I was nervous as hell and the fact that I was driving around in Brussels really did not help the cause.
The article came out the next day and I just couldn't believe I had described "Unknown Curiosity" that well! No, who am I kidding, I did no such thing! Journalists are simply magicians. (yes, you can go ahead and make that your statement of the day!)
All this was great fun but the launch still had to take place. It took me an afternoon and a very early morning to iron all the pieces but then the BIG day was upon us! Here are some pics from the event, in case you were not there ;).
